Practical Course B3

Teaching: A teaching module will cover the basics of understanding Darwinian fitness, and the challenges of applying this evolutionary framework to microbes.

The students should be prepared to participate in a discussion. You should be ready to present the life cycle of the organism that you work on. Life cycle simply means the birth, death and reproduction of your study organism in the real world. The point of this discussion will be for you to come to terms with the concept of "fitness" for their organism.
