In this course a short overview on cell isolation, cell culture methods of immunology will be presented.

Seminars on

1) function of SWAP-70 in neutrophils,
2) quantification of osteoclast precursor-cells in patients with psoriasis and psoriasis arthritis,
3) and isolation of gamma delta T cells of human peripheral blood of healthy donors

will be given, and lab work will proceed to the following topics:

- isolation of neutrophils from the bone marrow (wild type mice)
- isolation of T cells from human peripheral blood (taken from healthy donors)
- cell fixation, and cell surface staining
- flow cytometry analysis of different cell populations

The number of participants is limited to 6 students.
